I was not sure about this given the somewhat mixed reviews. I messed up migrating music to a new computer and ended up with hundreds of duplicates. But I can say I just installed it and ran without a hitch. Worked about 99.9%. There are a few with minor diferences in title or album that it did not distinguish. A very small price for the effort to cut through thousands of songs. worth every penny, thanks!!!

I’ve had it for a few years. No updates. Help objects no longer work. It still finds duplicates, but walks the line of crashing and grunts through tasks. Your call!

Does not indicate whether a track is actually duplicated in the file system, or just a duplicate entry in itunes. So it does not help me much. YMMV.

Deleted 1,102 duplicates within the span of 5 mins. Works perfect, does exactly what it says and does it well.

The utility is good at finding duplicates. But In my case where the hard drive had failed, I imported my itunes purchased songs, I had every sond duplicated. I had to manually select every song and purge it.

Program worked quickly and was easy to use. Thank you! I had 10s of thousands of duplicates, i deleted over 35 gig of duplicates in a very short time.

I bought just to remove rapidly duplicated songs… I trusted in precision of filters (I selected them all) BUT I LOST many songs (some also bought on iTunes store) and I dont know why… which is the criteria to cancel all some songs with the same name? (gosh) Dont have faith in this app, the only guarantee not to loose any songs is to control duplicate and remove IN iTUNES This is faster, OK, but its NOT SAFE

dont look any further. If you have lots of duplicates in your library this is the app to get. Worked flawlessly with my iTunes library. Cheapest app in town for duplicate removal .

over the time I was getting collecting more and more songs. I got lots of duplicates with no way to deciding which ones to keep. I use the option best bti rate to keep those with best qualiy. I like the option to create playlists with the songs that will be deleted to review everything upfront.

I initially started with an 80 GB folder, and the program crashed on me midway through. 2nd time the same result. I then read the instructions, which urge you to go no higher than 20GB and to start out with short playlists (with dupes on it?). Its probably OK for the price and for smaller collections. Unlike Liten it uses time length in its criteria, which is needed for accurate matching. But its not for my purposes. For larger folders not on your computer, try Gemini. For more cautious deduping of files on an external drive, Araxis is a good choice. In fact, for about ten bucks both Gemini and Araxis can be purchased. They complement one another. For sophisticated refining of a computer folder (i.e. iTunes), try TuneUp. The CEO is invovlved, supportive, and conscientious, despite some of the bad reviews suggesting otherwise.

This is a great app, in a matter of minutes it erased ALL my duplicates. I highly recommend it.

Simple, quick and easy app for cleaning up your iTunes library. Does the job well and efficiently. I am glad I spent the $5 instead of a whole day manually deleting my librarys duplicates. Time for a walk!

I merged an old copy of my itunes library that had a ton of stuff I forgot about. After I did it, I realized I had a lot of redunant stuff. I tried for :45 minutes to kill the duplicates in iTunes and didnt make a dent. This application did it in less than 5 minutes. Well worth the money.

After rebuilding my itunes library after a crash I had many duplicate files. Got sick of trying to delete them one by one so decided to take a chance and spend the 5 bucks on this. 3 Steps, Find, Filter and Purge, bye bye duplicates. Wish itunes would make it this easy but until then, Im happy I have this.

Now how did all those duplicates appear and just how long will it take to click, delete, answer the question " I am SURE that I want to delete this"? I have wasted so much time deleting songs this way that my wrist was starting to have overuse muscle strain. With this APP that isnt an issue because it will do it for you in minutes. Now my music library isnt as overwhelmed! Unlike like a competitors product for the double the price, I didnt have to have the most current Mac Os upgrade to use this product. This is the best APP that is applicable for my needs and is was so easy to use. It lets you choose which songs to delete based on the hight bit rate, oldest date addes, longest track, shoretest track, newest date addded or lowest bit rate.

Does what it says. Easy to use and works great.

I have never written a review on anything but since ive spent hours trying to get a refund i thought i might as well review this app as useless and does not cure anything signifigant, coulf not detect correct songs, and i ended up having to go do it all manually. it is impossible to search for exact matching times so if you have numerous songs downloaded off a cd and only titled "track 01, 02, 03…" it will pull up all of them and you have to go through and uncheck bu the song length all of the ones it planned on deleting that are "close" to similar lengths.

This app is absolute garbage, and a complete waste of money. I tested it on 1800 songs and identified only 6, even though I could see over 70 duplicates in the library. this is a scam
