I tried this App with iTunes 11. It was able to locate duplicates and said it deleted them but the files were still there - it did nothing.

Purchased and reduced size of i-tunes files by ~50% on 3 Mac Book Pros in 5 min. Very easy to use and quick. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. Saved many hours of manual work.

This app only looks into the name of the songs but not into the bits and bytes or duration, therefore be very careful when you use it. I decided not to use it at it showed me so many songs which actually where no duplicates. I wish I could get my money back! :( still looking for a good app to do the job

great to remove unwanted songs from your library. fast and reliable. 5 stars. Contrary th what eatsimplefood suggests , it is possible to check for duration of a song to distinguish between different versions of the same song ! ITunes 11 is also supported , or at least it works for me .

I was initially worried about how this would work wiht a large library given other reviews here. For various reasons I wont get into here, my library had 54,000 songs with 26,000 duplicates. It was HUGE. This program deleted the 26,000 duplicates without a problem. Although it took several hours. My system has 8GB of RAM. Not sure if that makes a difference, but it might.

I was so excited when this thing started to work - its the easiest GUI I have come across BUT when you go to delete it keeps crashing and littereally takes a good minute or so to delete one song - at this rate the 3700 songs I need to delete is going to take a week. It has crashed part way through everytime I have tried to use it. It should not be this way. It doesnt matter how easy it is if it dosent do what it is supposed to do.

This is great it found 600 duplicate songs that multiple others couldnt. Others in the app store claim it but this does it. THANK YOU for a great working program.

With a couple clicks, it helped me organize my playlists. No more hassle with duplicates :)

my library was 107,000. tried to run it in hole block. I have imac i7, thin one 32gb ram, fusion -> took about 5 minutes to sort it all out in terms of duplicates, few seconds to filter it, based on result I had about 45,000 dplicates of which according to app, 25,000 were identical, about 20 hrs to delete, I picked filtering based on bit rate. honestly was not that big of issue as let it run on background. note: my library (the one filled with duplicate is already backed up) and software was examining music on external DNS server. I think this process might have slowed down deleting process as imac is still not properly connected to server (imac to wi-fi, wi-fi to server via ethernet) re-run test and app was showing about 500 leftover dups. deleted and reduced to about 200 which seems like app is not confortable in deleting any further thought itunes library would have had to be reconstructed. but seems like on second look at it that the duplicates are actually what I was hoping software would have left intact: same song, same bit -rate, different album (or what unfortunately happens with old library like mine (albums that were originally copied into HD with incorrect naming) which result in same song, same bit-rate, same time but inproperly registered album name or track name… minor issue anyway… maybe Im gonna take it all back tomorrow (maybe not cuz I still my full old library backed up) but to me, software did a pretty excellent job.

This very quickly deleted entire albums that were not in fact duplicated. Back to the drawing board. We can put a man on the moon...

They ask for an email before posting a bad review. Well its been almost 2 weeks and I havent received anything back, at all. I sent them the following: "I cannot filter or organize or view Comments or Star Rating. I purchased this to remove duplicates with high Star Ratings. Really... your program doesnt do anything for me others already do. Please let me know soon, I wont wait long but hope youll address it." I asked them to fix the problem or refund my money; they have done neither along with a failure to respond. I did what they ask, pay them, complain to them before posting a bad review - and I have nothing but a worthless $5 program. Please dont spend money on this worthless program.

Total waste of money: It detected "duplicates"…...about a third of my library -many of which were NOT duplicators - i.e. unique files and deleted them!!! Could fortunately restore from the trash can. Absolute waste!! needs a negative star

Last week I checked the duplicates in my iTunes libray ( view -> show duplicate items). I started to delete duplicate songs one by one ( always question One by one ? ) . After straining my fingers over 30 minutes I gave up. Today I installed this app and it did the job in minutes. Find -> Filter -> Delete. Amazing app.

I had 5000 duplicates in my library and tried to get rid of them manually. For an app that I would be using only once it seemed a bit expensive but the alternatives are at least double the price. After installation its a matter of minutes to clean up your library. All in all good value for money. I give it the full 5 stars.

if you have a big and cluttered itunes library full of double songs this is the program for you. Simple and easy to use. LUV IT.

Listen to all the glowing reviews, because they are true. I was a little skeptical because I thougth the reviews were "too good," but I was very pleasantly surprised. It really is a great app and its super easy to use. The only thing I would like to see added is that there would be a way to filter by more than one criteria. There are several filtering options, such as keeping the song with the highest bit rate, oldest date added, etc., but you can only choose one criteria. It would be nice to have a more highly refined filter. All in all, its one of the best apps Ive ever purchased.
